Annual Meeting in the Context of the Eucharist

January 22, 10:00 a.m.

“All Souls is a Eucharistically centered cathedral…” We understand our life to be centered, informed and fed by the movements and elements of the Eucharist. This practice creates the space in which we encounter and are moved by the sacred. Last year we decided to offer our Annual Meeting in this Eucharistic context, allowing the rhythms and prayers to couch and speak to the recollection of the past year and our hopes for the coming one.

An Annual Meeting is a time when we get to name and clarify the things that are motivating us as a faith community. It is a time to hear from various ministries about their work and hopes. It is a time to elect new vestry persons. It is a time to recall from where we have come and to where we hear the Spirit leading us.

We will hear reports from our Treasurer, our assistant for youth, and our children’s formation assistant, among others. As our meeting will be in the context of our morning liturgy, our two services on the 22nd will be at 7:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Thomas will preside at a children’s annual meeting which will run concurrently with the 10:00 a.m. liturgy.

Join us on the 22rd as we gather in the Nave.
