In each Connection through October, look for information about Church World Service and one of its fund-raisers, CROP Walks. Our local walk will be held October 16.
Fall is rapidly approaching and a beautiful October will once again grace Western North Carolina with its blessings. Along with that comes the annual CROP Walk to help people around the world to gain some improvement in lives that are challenging beyond anything we can imagine. An easy way to contribute to the efforts of Church World Service around the globe is to make the walk on Sunday, October 16th or to sponsor someone who is walking. Last year participants at All Souls were able to raise just over $1,000—an increase from the previous year but well below potential.
