Easter Baskets for the Children of Children First

Again this year, the Women’s Gathering and Children First Committee will deliver Easter Baskets to children in the Emma Community.  When you shop for your basket items, remember that little boys (toy cars and animal figures) and “tweens” (jewelry and barrettes) also like to get baskets.

Baskets for toddlers should not contain any choking hazards (hard candy and small toys).

The Women’s Gathering will hold a celebration and blessing of the baskets on Friday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  Women may bring their baskets and a dish to share in the fellowship of the evening.  Loretta Andrews, All Souls Children First Chair, will be our speaker that evening updating us on the latest Children First Projects.

Deadline Dates to deliver Easter Baskets:

  • Last Sunday we collect Easter Baskets at the morning services:   April 10

  • Last Day to bring Easter Baskets to the Church Office:  April 15

Questions?  Contact either Loretta Andrews at 277-6133 or Lisa Sellers at 582-4288.

The children most in need for something special in their lives are chosen to receive these baskets.  Let’s see how many children we can offer this special Easter gift.
