On Friday, December 17 beginning at 6:30 p.m., the annual LFR Cookie Party will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Kenilworth Presbyterian Church. One hundred twenty cake boxes will be opened up and awaiting volunteers and friends of LFR’s clients to walk around the room and drop in home-made cookies (or bakery-purchased ones). The boxes will be distributed to clients when the pantry opens the next day, Saturday, December 18th. There will be plenty of “broken” cookies for sampling along with a variety of beverages and lots of good conversation and carols.
