Brush your pets, practice your best smile and get your picture made for the all new and improved All Souls’ photo directory. Consider it the cathedral’s family album, face book or whatever, but sign up and show up for your portrait in November.
Photo sessions are being scheduled now for the weeks of Nov. 8-11, 13, and Nov. 16-20. You may choose the time most convenient for you on sign-up sheets before or after Sunday church services or by contacting the church office, 828-274-2681, for guidance.
Mike Stevenson and others at the church are once again working with Lifetouch publishers to produce the new print and online directory. This directory, with all-digital photography, will serve as a vital communication and contact information document for the clergy and congregation of All Souls. It is important that everyone be pictured, helping put names with faces.
Pets or significant objects (such as a small musical instrument) may be included in portraits, as appropriate. Be the first at All Souls to be pictured with your cat! Photos will be made in the cathedral’s parish hall.
Charles Drawdy of Tryon, consultant with Lifetouch in charge of All Souls project, says portraits ordered will be available in time for Christmas giving.
There is no charge for being photographed for the directory and each family will receive a complimentary 8 by 10 photo and directory for participating. Additional poses and prints may be ordered at a cost.
