The Properties Commission is sponsoring an important Parish Family Work Day on Saturday, December 4th beginning as early as 8 am with coffee and donuts. This is a “drop in” work day so please find an hour or more on the 4th to help get the cathedral ready for the busy Advent and Christmas seasons. We hope to do a thorough cleaning of the inside of the church and to also give the lawn a good raking/blowing to remove leaves.
It is helpful if our workers bring their own favorite tools for both inside and outside work, but we will have some materials to supplement what you bring. Inside we will be dusting, using vacuums, and “elbow grease” (bring your own elbow grease please).
Pizza will be ordered for lunch near the middle of the day and it is always fun to work with our fellow parishioners! So make it a point of dropping in and cleaning up!
