The Children First/Project March Summer Camp was a big success! Some of the activities enjoyed by the children were: Swimming lessons, camp overnights, and making clay pots; trips included a carnival, Animal Haven, Health Adventure, Pisgah and Dupont Forests, Lower and Upper Creek Falls, Graveyard Fields, the Pink Beds, Looking Glass Falls, Whale Bone Rock, Warren Wilson trails, Montreat College park, Lake James, Triple Falls and Mt. Mitchell. They saw a raccoon in the wild, petted a pig and held a toad. They made friends, learned new skills, improved relationships, and ended the summer with a Camp Jamboree cook out picnic and awards ceremony.
How was this possible? Because of the generosity of the All Souls Family. Your donations made it possible to sponsor almost a third of the children attending. In addition you contributed supplies and equipment and the use of the church van. Children First changes lives and you are part of it.
