Successful EYC Talent Show for Durgapur
From karaoke to Copland, to the recital of a Shakepearean sonnet and the Bishop rapping Emily Dickinson, the EYC enjoyed a wide range of each other’s talent and raised $370 at the diocesan-wide Talent Show for Durgapur on November 7th at St. James, Hendersonville.
A generous donor from All Souls who wishes to remain anonymous contributed an additional $250, so with the combined proceeds we will be able to support two students for a year at the hostel in Durgapur, and send some Christmas presents as well! The All Souls EYC hopes to start some penpal relationships with the children at the hostel, and learn more about our companion diocese over the coming months.
