Yes, we are making a difference. Twice each year we join with churches around the world to collect our “offerings of thanks” and unite them to provide grants throughout the world. One hundred percent of the offerings collected are given away every year. These grants from the UTO help meet compelling human needs, and are tangible evidence of how our gratitude can lead to someone else’s.
As All Souls holds the UTO Spring Ingathering on June 19th, we will highlight a few of the grant recipients of the past year by imagining ourselves in their homes and at their tables.
As we sample foods from these areas, we can be grateful for what our offerings have helped them to accomplish, and look forward to the work we can support in the coming year. Join me on the porch for a taste of the UTO, and as always, thank you for your generosity!
